Clinical Rehabilitation Services
Veterinary clinical rehabilitation is a specialised field focused on enhancing the recovery, mobility, and overall well-being of pets suffering from injuries, surgeries, chronic pain, or age-related issues. This multidisciplinary approach combines advanced medical techniques with therapeutic exercises, physical therapy, and integrative treatments to alleviate pain, improve function, and promote healing.
Services include advanced pharamceutical pain management, acupuncture, hydrotherapy, laser therapy, massage, and customised exercise programs tailored to each pet's specific needs. By addressing both the physical and emotional aspects of recovery, veterinary clinical rehabilitation helps pets regain their strength, increase their range of motion, and enjoy a higher quality of life.
Complementary Therapy
Our rehabilitation and chronic pain therapy services work alongside the traditional medicine prescribed by your primary care veterinary surgeon. We approach your pet's case to provide a complementary, integrative approach to your pet's treatment while offering a number of complementary therapies such as acupuncture, electrical stimulation, thermotherapies, massage, therapeutic ultrasound and laser therapies.
Underwater Treadmill Therapy
UWT is a specific type of hydrotherapy that allows for a carefully controlled rehabilitation process for your pet aiding in recovery from spinal injury or surgery, muscle strengthening, pain reduction, gait retraining as well as the management of chronic degenerative conditions such as osteoarthritis and degenerative myelopathy.
