About The Practice

Pawsitive Relief is a dedicated Veterinary Clinical Rehabilitation and Chronic Pain Therapy Centre based in the North East of England. The centre is run by Chapel Fell Veterinary Services, an independently owned veterinary practice that dedicates itself to helping pets live their best lives, in comfort.  Chapel Fell Veterinary Services was established in 2023 and is owned and run by Dr Emma Rogers-Smith.

Pawsitive Relief looks to provide care for your pet considering their health and the influences of their environment in a holistic and integrative fashion, recognising that pharmacological medicines are only one part of their medical needs.

Services offered include veterinarian led clinical rehabilitation services, laser therapy, veterinary acupuncture, physiotherapy, hydrotherapy (underwater treadmill and swimming hydrotherapy) and chronic pain management. We also offer physio-led fun and fitness programmes.

We operate over two sites. The first is our fully equipped rehabilitation clinic based in Tow Law. Here we run have everything from class 4 laser, underwater treadmill and a fully kitted out doggy gym! Our second site is based at Langley Moor (Nr Durham) and has a brand new, purpose build canine hydrotherapy pool.
